"......"
As soon as I finished speaking, Zhang Ge and Director Han were both full of disdain, with Zhang Ge even sarcastically saying, "What, are you trying to bribe the police? Do you believe I will throw you in prison right now?"
"Heh......"
Hearing this, I couldn't help but laugh. In fact, even Lao Wu refused to take the money, let alone Zhang Ge and Director Han.
Since no one wanted the money, I suggested that I would treat them to a meal instead. After all, it was the village's money...
"Alright! That's settled! It must happen!"
Upon hearing the mention of eating, Zhang Ge got excited, and recommended the Yuchen International Hotel, claiming that it was the only four-star hotel in Dafang County. It was obvious that he wanted to take advantage of me...
Having reached a consensus, the three of us drove towards the "Yuchen International," while Lao Wu declined our invitation. Having just received the 50,000 yuan, he planned to immediately find a post office and send some funds to his son.
Since Lao Wu refused to come, we naturally didn't want to force him, and after reminding him to take care of the money, we went our separate ways.
The small county was convenient to travel in, and in just a few minutes, we arrived at the luxurious She Xiang Avenue, where the hotel was located.
"She Xiang Avenue?"
Hearing the navigation prompt, I couldn't help but look at Zhang Ge with suspicion and instinctively asked, "Is the She Xiang Tomb in your county?"
"Obviously!"
Zhang Ge simply glanced at me and said, "It's not in our county, did you think it's in your Yucheng?"
Pointing ahead, he continued, "It's not far from here, probably just a few minutes away. If you're interested, we can go visit after dinner..."
"Ok..."
Nodding, I was indeed very interested, and if we had time later, I really wanted to go and have a look. So I said, "Okay, let's go after dinner!"
...
After dinner, we still had time, so we decided to visit the "She Xiang Tomb."
"By the way! What was the situation with the village elder just now?"
On the way, Zhang Ge finally asked about what happened earlier in the village, showing a face full of disbelief and said, "You didn't see it, but your flattery really disgusted me..."
"It's good that it disgusted you, I intended to do so. Damn, he dared to cast a spell on me!"
I almost forgot about the "spell" inside me. I quickly pulled over, activated the dragon energy in my body, and forced the bug out. Then, I grabbed it!
Damn! It turned out to be a shiny little centipede?
No wonder the village elder was so determined to get my "Feng Zhen", it was clear that the bug he raised was also a centipede!
Compared to the previous centipede spirit, the one in my hand now was much smaller. However, its threat wasn't necessarily lower. If it wasn't for my dragon energy restraining it, I wouldn't have been able to drive it out of my body in a short time.
"Ah?...Is this... the spell the village elder put on you?"
Zhang Ge was visibly startled, and quickly shrank to the side, looking terrified. They had only seen me casually take the bank card from the village elder, but they had no idea that such a small action was actually quite dangerous.
"Hehe... that's right, I was thinking, could it be this old guy's life-long spell?"
I couldn't help but smile slightly as I spoke. If this was indeed the old guy's life-long spell, he would be in big trouble! Once I killed the bug, his loss wouldn't just be that of the bug but his life-long spell nurtured for years or even decades, and he would suffer serious repercussions!
What is a life-long spell? It is the bug that a bug master starts to tame when they first start out, and after it grows, it will merge into the bloodline. From then on, the person and the bug are connected, and mutually dependent.
"Hmph!"
I coldly snorted and exerted more force, nearly squashing the centipede. He started it; I wouldn't be polite!
Just as I was about to kill the bug, the little radish, which had been silent in the gourd for several days, suddenly had a reaction, and popped out. It looked at me with pleading eyes, then pointed at the little centipede with its pinky finger.
"Uh..."
With a suspicious look at the little radish, I asked, "Do you want to eat this?"
The little radish licked its lips and eagerly nodded, making a pitiful look.
"Heh..."
Shaking my head with a smile, I handed the little centipede to it, and it accepted it happily, chewing it up and swallowing it. Then, it affectionately rubbed against my neck with its tiny head, satisfied, and went back into the gourd.
"I can't believe it... you... carried this thing with you?"
Seeing this scene, Zhang Ge was dumbfounded, with a face full of disbelief, and asked in astonishment, "You actually carry this ghostly thing with you?"
"Shh!"
I quickly made a hushing motion to Zhang Ge and said, "Keep it down, if you offend the little brat, I won't be able to help you!"
Hearing this, Zhang Ge suddenly felt a chill in his heart, and quickly nodded, not daring to say another word.
After getting rid of the bug in my body, Zhang Ge and I continued on our way. Approximately five minutes later, we finally arrived at the "She Xiang Tomb."
The so-called "She Xiang Tomb" was actually the tomb of She Xiang, a famous female politician of the Yi ethnic group.
She Xiang was a woman from the end of the Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, born in Yongning, Sichuan. She was the daughter of She Lejun Hengbu Hengshe Jun She, the governor of the Yongning Xuanfu Prefecture and the Yi ethnic group. She later married the ruler of the Yi ethnic group and the peace envoy of Qianzhou, Aici.
In the 14th year of the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, Aici passed away, and since her son was young, the 23-year-old She Xiang took on a heavy responsibility and administered the office of the envoy of Qianzhou. After taking over, she built roads, set up post stations, greatly improved communication between the mainland and the southwestern frontier, consolidated the border's political power, and promoted the social, economic, and cultural development of Shuixi and Qianzhou.
In the twenty-ninth year of the Hongwu reign, Lady She Xiang passed away. Even Zhu Yuanzhang sent a special envoy to offer condolences, and at the same time, ordered the construction of a mausoleum and a shrine on the shore of Ximatang. She Xiang was posthumously honored as "Lady Shunde of the Great Ming" and was bestowed with court attire and luxurious fabrics. The tomb, built in accordance with the third-rank regulations and combining the style of the Yi people, was then constructed.
Regarding this extraordinary woman of the Yi ethnic group, Zhu Yuanzhang personally praised her, saying, "She Xiang's allegiance is worth more than ten thousand troops!"
From this, it can be seen that this minority ethnic female political figure indeed held significant importance at that time!
The location of the "She Xiang Tomb" was originally the site where the ancestor of the Yi people established the castle of the Luodian Kingdom. As the saying goes, "outsiders watch the bustle, insiders see the intricacies." As soon as I entered the tomb area, I couldn't help but exclaim at the remarkable feng shui!
The tomb faced north and south, with a "Green Dragon" to the left, which was the cloud dragon mountain that surrounded the land and arched, and a "living dragon" to the right, the first high-grade highway in the northwest of Qianxi, which was already open to traffic, connecting the county town of Dafang to Naxi, and directly linking to the water transportation of the Yangtze River. "Wei Ma Sui Ba." In front of it was the Langfeng Terrace "charge to the south," and behind it was the General's Mountain "sitting in the north." Amidst the surrounding scenery of high mountains and beautiful forests, the layout of the She Xiang Tomb displayed an imposing and solemn grandeur.
As I was engrossed in observing the surrounding feng shui, suddenly my companion Zhang grabbed my arm and whispered, "Look! Isn't that Sima Yin behind us?"
"Sima Yin?"
Upon hearing this, I was immediately alert and followed Zhang's direction to see for myself.
Sure enough, not far from the entrance, near the bronze statue of She Xiang, a man in black was standing there, and who else could it be but Sima Yin? He was holding a palm-sized compass in his hand, as if he was searching for something around him!
What did he want to do?
Could he be trying to rob She Xiang's tomb?
It was impossible. Even though Lady She Xiang was well-known in Qianzhou, her tomb was only built according to the third-rank regulations of the Ming dynasty, so theoretically, there shouldn't be many burial items inside!
Furthermore, due to the construction of the She Xiang Museum, this place had become a tourist attraction, visited by tourists almost every day. Even if someone wanted to rob the tomb, there was no place for them to start, right?
Then what did he want to do? I didn’t think he was here just to study feng shui...
